rs4532

Hard Link
rs4532 is a snp on gene DRD1 (dopamine receptor D1)

GeneDRD1 Chromosome number 5 Chromosome position 175443147
Alleles C/T Minor Allele C Minor Allele Frequency 0.2446
Notation A48G Clinical significance Orientation (dbSNP) + (positive/forward strand)
SNP Function
5' UTR in strong LD with rs5326.
Gene Function
Dopamine receptor 1 is used to regulate growth and development of the neurons and activated to mediate behavioral responses. COMT SNPs increase dopamine formation and VDR FokI mutation decrease dopamine formation. Molecular mimicry caused by chronic infection including Streptococcal-associated tics and OCD in PANDAS and Lyme disease and associated co-infections cause antibodies against this receptor.
This SNP is reported by one or more services.
