OVERVIEW:

Positive results for acid phosphatase, esterase C4 and C8, hippurate hydrolysis, leucine aminopeptidase, naphthol-ASBI-phosphohydrolase, alanine-phenylalanine- proline arylamidase, glycine-tryptophan arylamidase, Voges-Proskauer reaction, acid production (without gas) (after 7 days incubation at 30 ºC) from: D-glucose, D-fructose & L-sorbose. Negative results for alkaline phosphatase, arginine hydrolysis, aesculin hydrolysis, catalase, oxidase,  C14 lipase, cystine aminopeptidase, trypsin, chymotrypsin, alpha- and beta-galactosidase, beta-glucuronidase, alpha- and beta-glucosidase, N-acetyl-beta-glucosaminidase, alpha-mannosidase, alpha-fucosidase, pyrrolidonyl arylamidase, pyroglutamic acid arylamidase, beta-mannosidase, urease, valine aminopeptidase, acid production from: D-adonitol, aesculin ferric citrate, amygdalin, D- and L-arabinose, D- and L-arabitol, arbutin, cellobiose, dulcitol, erythritol, D-and L-fucose, D-galactose, gentiobiose, gluconate, glycerol, glycogen, methyl alpha-D-glucopyranoside, N-acetylglucosamine, inositol, inulin, 2- and 5-ketogluconate, lactose, D-lyxose, maltose, D-mannitol, D-mannose, melezitose, melibiose, methyl alpha-D-mannopyranoside, raffinose, L-rhamnose, D-ribose, D-sorbitol, salicin, starch, sucrose, D-tagatose, trehalose, turanose, xylitol, methyl beta-D-xylopyranoside, D- and L-xylose.
