Vitamin K

Vitamin K is a fat-soluble vitamin, that the body stores in fat tissue and the liver. It is best known for its role in helping blood clot, or coagulate, properly. Vitamin K also plays an important role in bone health. Vitamin K is found in leafy green foods, as well as in beef liver, green tea, turnip greens, broccoli, kale, spinach, cabbage, and asparagus. Bacteria in the intestines can also make vitamin K.
