Managing Your Account

Account management is accessed from the ‘Manage’ button on the toolbar. There are two basic aspects to account management in Opus 23 Pro: Managing your account information, and managing your clients. The pull-down menu has the following options:
  • Your Account: Clicking this option allows you to edit your details such as name, email, password, clinic address and contact details. This page also shows how many clients are currently loaded on your account and how many available client slots remain under your current license.
  • Your Profiles: Hovering over this option exposes additional options, all of which are related to managing your client profiles. These include:
    • Load/ List Clients: Selecting this option will present you with a list of your current clients. Click on any name to load their data. You can always check to see which client is currently loaded by looking at the line below the top menu bar
    • Import Raw Data: Selecting this option will present you with a form that allows you to import 23andMe raw data. In order to upload client data you must have at least one open upload slot available on your current Opus 23 Pro license. Enter the required fields (Name, Gender, Year of Birth, Ethnicity) and click on the Choose File button. This opens an Explorer window (PC) or Finder window (Mac). Navigate to the Downloads folder of your computer (or to wherever you have saved the zipped raw data file) and select the file. The file will take some time to upload, and most browsers will show a progress bar. Once uploaded, the client’s profile will appear in the ‘Load / List Profiles’ section of Opus 23 Pro alongside the sample client. Click on your client’s last name to load their data into Opus 23 Pro. Their name will now appear in the top left corner of Opus 23 Pro to show which client is currently loaded. You are now ready to explore that client’s genome using the applications in the program and produce reports based on their data. For more information, see 'Working with Data'
    • Edit Current Profile: Selecting this option will allow you to add further details about the current client or edit existing details
    • Re-Index Current Client: If new SNP data has been added to Opus 23 Pro, re-indexing will load the new SNPs from the client’s 23andMe data and use that information in any mappings, algorithms, reports, etc. You will see a notice that the client's data has been reindexed
  • Log Out: Clicking this option logs you out of Opus 23 Pro and removes any tracking data (cookies) from your computer
